The Villa Bentota

The Villa Bentota is a unique and private beach side hotel; Paradise Road’s newest property, located just 1.5 hours drive south of Colombo. The Villa Bentota is housed in the MohottiWalauwa which was converted into Sri Lanka’s first boutique hotel in the 1970s by world-renowned Architect, the late Geoffrey Bawa and is set on 2 acres of land.

There are 15 a/c ensuite rooms of which seven are Standard Rooms and eight are Suites. Most rooms and suites have magnificent sea views. The Suites are more spacious and have a day bed that can convert into an additional bed. All suites have a private balcony or terrace with sea views, and some have private plunge pools and lavishly decorated with antique pieces, sumptuous bed linen and gorgeous bathrooms The Villa Bentota is a delightful haven of comfort and tranquility.
